Where has this year gone? It feels like we have missed out on a lot of things we normally experience, e.g. international travel and visits from overseas. We have also learned a lot, especially about ZOOM, and values have been modified. All of a sudden Christmas is here and we are already planning the next year. This time I completely forgot to take photos of our plein air painting session at Queens Gardens. However, luckily photos were taken of me for a change. It was a gorgeous day today with hardly any wind and beautiful sunshine. The perfect painting day before Christmas. Plein Air painting will take a break and resume on 3rd February 2021.

Meet us for plein air painting on 16th December 2020, 10am, at Queens Gardens, Nelson. Domett Street is sometimes a good street to find unlimited parking. On the road towards Rabbit Island turn left at Tic Toc Road onto Rough Island, pass the Equestrian Centre and all the way towards the boat ramp. What a beautiful and convenient spot to paint en plein air. There are boats, mountains, people, and a cafe. I love it when I can get a fresh coffee right next to my plein air painting.
