Photos of Plein Air Painting at Eyebright

Our plein air painting session at Eyebright was probably the most beautiful session this autumn. Eyebright is such a lovely place to visit for the garden and the store. The weather was warm and sunny and the setting was simply gorgeous. Although, it was a bit windy and every now and then we had to chase our materials across the lawn.

This time I tried to paint one of the fellow artists which, with the palette knife, was rather difficult. Also, and I knew this from the start, it’s not a good idea setting up in the sun. It makes it so difficult to see and understand colours and values on the painting and your palette. Never mind, it was still a lot of fun, even though the painting wasn’t a keeper.
