Gravity Winery & Cellar Doors is located in Mahana, between Richmond and Motueka, New Zealand. The painting shows the vineyard in its autumn glory. This painting shows Nicole’s palette knife interpretation of the Broadgreen Historic House in Stoke/Nelson, New Zealand. The various colours applied in thick palette knife strokes have to work together through tonal values to depict the image of this old homestead with its picket fence and the flowers and bushes in front of it.
