Plein air painting was a bit different this time. We were at Ruby's Espresso on Akersten Street, Nelson, which had a lot of guests coming and going, ordering drinks and food, sitting down, chatting, reading, etc. Talk about a busy place. Another lovely day of Plein Air Painting, this time at Gravity Winery, Mahana. Not only did we enjoy a great time on the lawn in front of the restaurant, but also some delicious coffee to keep us painting.

Unlike the weather forecast predicted the morning turned out to be beautiful and we had a gorgeous time at the Waahi Taarako Reserve. Some of us enjoyed painting the Gibbs Bridge and others focused on the swimming hole. A lovely lady travelling through New Zealand joined our group unexpectedly.
