Driving down Akersten Street towards the marina Ruby’s coffee cart will come up on your left hand side. Toilets are in walking distance. It was another magical day for plein air painting. This time we enjoyed a beautiful day at Silvan, a private property in Richmond. Have a look at the photos.

Meet us for plein air painting on 4th May 2022, 10am, at Gravity Winery, 243 Old Coach Road. Gravity Winery offers views over the vineyard and the Nelson Bay towards the Richmond hills. Meet us for plein air painting on 27th April , 10am, at Silvan, 205 Champion Road, Richmond. Silvan is a beautiful private property with a lake amongst forest trees. The leaves are changing colour and the lake is always a lovely subject to paint, no matter what season it is.  Directions: Please park your car in the parking area by the shed. Meet us for plein air painting on Wednesday 6th April 2022, 10am, at Waahi Taarkaro Reserve, Maitai (not Hanby Park!). The Reserve offers trees and the Maitai River.  There is a swimming hole (for those who are keen), a playground (just in case you want to get back on a swing) and toilets.
