About the Artwork
Early Morning at Java Hut is the 6th painting I created of this fabulous little coffee shop in Mapua. The painting shows the local crowd that meets regularly in the early morning to have a coffee before going for a walk along the waterfront. In this case it is winter and the sun hasn’t come up yet. The painting is very tactile because of its chunky brush marks.
